We had the opportunity (and sunny weather) to visit Lake Conestee Nature Park on Tuesday, March 24! This was a fun filled trip as we learning about the meadow, lake, and forest habitats! Guides took us through these habitats, showing us living animals and animal skins from each habitat. Students were able to see many animals and plants we have been studying with our Survival IB Unit: Pond Case Study. Students were able to make discoveries looking under logs and using everyday materials to mimic animal sounds. We had a great time (and we were worn out - some of us even slept on the way back to school)!!
