Welcome, November!

It's hard to believe November is almost halfway over!  We are hard at work on our Thanksgiving Play - I hope to see you there!  We will be performing on Tuesday, November 24 at 11:45.  Students have enjoyed our workshop time using iPad apps, working with numbers, and exploring how to build shapes!  We have also been working hard on our writing!  Students are doing a great job of listening for letter sounds and remembering to use punctuation.

We have our Six for Sticks hockey game this weekend!  All students from our school were invited to participate in this special reading program sponsored by our Greenville Swamp Rabbits hockey team.  Students who read 6 books and returned the Six for Sticks reading log received a Buy One Get One Free ticket to this Saturday's hockey game!!  Maggie, Davis, & Emma - thank you for participating!

Today we also celebrated Veteran's Day!  We read a Scholastic Let's Find Out magazine that shared what a military men and women may do with their job, listened to the story The White Table and learned the meaning behind it, and invited our veteran's to eat lunch with us.  Davis' grandfather was able to join him for lunch today.  What a special treat!  We look forward to seeing more of our Grandparents on Monday, November 16 at our Grandparent's Day Lunch for K5!!
