Our Valentine SNOW Day!

What an exciting day in Room 004!  This morning we had a rare Snow Day AT school!  Our flurries started around 9:15, and of course we went out to experience the flurry firsthand!  Students enjoyed catching snowflakes on their jackets and tongues and playing in the falling snow.  Much to our delight, the flurry continued, resulting in a 2nd trip outside for more dancing and catching snowflakes!  We continued to watch the snow blanket CCE and stepped outside briefly one more time after lunch for a quick picture before it began to melt.

This afternoon, we had our Valentine Celebration & Popcorn Party reward!  During our related arts block, students created their very own Love Bugs!  Students later enjoyed visiting different stations where they made a Valentine puzzle, made Valentine sun catchers, raced to build the tallest conversation heart tower, raced to blow their marshmallow off the table first, and enjoyed a yummy snack!
