Workshops and Llama Llama

We had a great performance today from The South Carolina Children's Theater!  A group came today to perform Llama Llama - a combination of the books Llama Llama Red Pajama, Llama Llama Mad at Mama, and Llama Llama Time to Share by Anna Dewdney.  Students and teachers alike laughed and enjoyed the expressive acting and students did very well sitting through almost an hour long performance!

In our classroom, we have been enjoying our Workshop rotations the last two weeks!  These activities are primarily literacy based, with social and fine motor skills added in.  Next week we will begin going to two workshops each day instead of just one. Students can read, practice handwriting, complete fine motor craft activities, practice social skills while playing games, and review letters & high frequency words!

Last, don't forget to keep collecting Box Tops!  We are so proud of how many Box Tops our students and families have sent in so far!  If you need a new paper, send a note to let us know.

Have a great weekend!  Check back next week to see our new letter cycle!
