A Peek at *Last Week* Oct. 19, 2016

Whew!  October is a busy month - the season is changing, families are taking advantage of the beautiful weather and school break, and we are in conference mode at school!  I have loved meeting with so many of our families to share the growth our students have seen since August!  Last week was an exciting week in our class with 2 fun events!  On Monday, October 10, we hosted the Greenville Little Theater.  They performed the play Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good Very Bad Day.  It was a wonderful performance that the students really enjoyed!

On Wednesday, October 12 we hosted our annual K5 Transportation Fair!  We were thankful to have vehicles from the City of Greer, Greer Fire Department, Greer Police Department, Greenville Police Department, Josey's Chuck Wagon, Whitey's Auto Auction, & Eastside Transportation in addition to an electric car and a kayak provided by two of our K5 parents.  It was a fun event where students were able to experience the vehicles up close and ask questions about their function in our community.
